Whats the difference between the k20a2 type s head and the k24a2 head? I heard it was the same except the valves on the type s was larger? Someone confirm that or clarify please

so with that, nothing really except for the intake valves are different?

so would it be possible to take a k24a2 head and replace the rocker assembly, cams and cam gears with a k20z3?

I made 243 08 k24a2 longblock and dyno til 8600 just so I could rev it out in 4th if need be and its ran times to back the power I guess high 11s soon to be mid 11s "hopefully" but thats with weight reduction and diffrent size slicks.

If I switched just to a type S head you think my longblock would bang into 250+ plus WHP? that would be sweet ontop of a bigger TB and E85 that would hopefully run into the high 250s ....but thats besides the point of this thread lol I guess what I was saying is the RBB head can make power for stock setups I dont think id go threw the hassle of switching heads.

Built motor yes typs S all the way plus a 4piston port :)

The CRV head is pretty damn good right out of the box. The TSX head has pretty thin walls which prevents aggressive porting. Personally, I would only get a ported head from Drag Cartel, Team 4Piston racing, or ASP. These guys race what they build and supply a lot of the drag teams. I definitely would not attempt this myself nor would I leave it to a local shop....unless I was local to one of the above mentioned companies.

People want control over their specs, but in reality they should be asking what they need instead of asking what they think they need.

Exhaust likes it a certain way no more no less

It's also obvious because no matter what cams you are running you can always improve the intake and leave exhaust same, yet engine makes more power with same exhaust valve behavior guided by the roller touching the cam.
